Intercarat stellt Membranen aus PTFE her, die vorwiegend in Pumpen, Ventilen und Antrieben verbaut werden. Auch weitere Formteile wie Scheiben werden bei uns gefertigt.

Membranen für Ventile

PTFE-Membranen bieten ein Höchstmaß an chemischer Beständigkeit beim Handling von Flüssigkeiten, Gasen und Dämpfen. Darüber hinaus verschleißt der Werkstoff auch bei Dampfbeaufschlagung wie bei Reinigungsprozessen üblich wesentlich langsamer als ein Weichelastomer. Allerdings ist die Membrane steifer, so dass wir häufig auch kaschierte Membranen oder zweiteilige Formteile mit Schild (PTFE für Beständigkeit) und Rücken (EPDM für Elastizität) fertigen.

Membranen für Dosierpumpen

Dosierpumpen werden zum Beispiel in Hallen- und Freibädern zur Dosierung des Flockungsmittels oder zur Regelung des pH-Werts mithilfe von Natriumhydroxid und Schwefelsäure eingesetzt. Dabei wird durch Bewegung der Membrane  Druck erzeugt.. Dadurch gewährleistet sie die Abdichtung und transportiert gleichzeitig das Fluid bzw. die Chemikalie.
